No matter the form of government, if the split of the take is acceptable to the ruled the Ruling Class will likely stay in power. If the ruled are getting enough then the Ruling Class will continue to rule. Once that balance is tipped to more favor the Ruling Class at the expense of the ruled then it's simply a matter of time before the apple cart needs to be righted, balance restored between the Haves and have nots.
With T-rump's new Tax Law about to initialize, that moment is near. Many of us expected this moment to arrive years ago, myself included, but as they say, better late than never. And it's not certain at all that the "moment" will arrive this year or next, or at all. Becuz there still are many too many T-rump supporters in the bottom 49%, to say nothing of the 99%. But if the Tax Law does what TPTB intend, then that "moment" should arrive sooner rather than later.
The question is what happens next?
